Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum age requirement is 19 years old on or before the written test date.
• A valid NYS Driver’s License is required at the time of interview.
• Candidates must have either sixty (60) college credits or thirty (30) college credits plus two (2) years of active military duty with an honorable discharge.
• Applicants must reside in Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Nassau County, Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, or Staten Island at the time of application.
